Thegoal of this research is to develop a valid local potential-based life skills learning module for residents learning package C at PKBM Melati Ogan Ilir. This development research is carried out using the Borg and Gall development model in a modification emzir with seven steps (Potential and Problem Analysis, Data Collection, Product Design, Design Validation, Design Revision, Product Trial, Prod-uct Revision). Data collection is carried out through the analysis stage, namely by dis-tributing questionnaires and interviews. The validity of the media is assessed by three experts, namely media experts, linguists and material experts. Adata analysis using Likert Scale. The implementation of the media is carried out through two stages, name-ly one to one trial on three people, namely one tutor and two learning residents and a small group trial on 10 people consisting of 5 tutors and 5 learning residents which aims to determine the validity of the local potential-based life skill learning module media in package C at PKBM Melati. The result of this study is the media of the local potential-based life skill learning module which obtained a score result of 22 with a percentage of 79% of the very valid category, and in language the number of scores obtained was 19 with a percentage of 68% getting a valid category, further on the total material of 24 with a percentage of 75% which is the valid category. Basedon the validation stages that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the development of life skill learning modules based on local potential in package C at the Melati Ogan Ilir Community Learning Activity Center is valid and feasible to be used in the learning process of residents learning package C.
