Entrepreneurship is a process of creating something that has added value and economic value. interest is an urge to do something because there is a desire to achieve a certain goal, while Metal Casting Engineering is a manufacturing process that uses molten metal and molds to produce shapes that are close to the final geometric shape of the finished shape. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with the aim of knowing entrepreneurial interest in metal casting students of Mechanical Engineering Education, Sriwijaya University. In this study, researchers used a questionnaire as a research instrument. The research questionnaire contains factors that influence interest in entrepreneurship, namely internal factors and external factors. With the results of the study seen from the internal factor of entrepreneurial interest in the field of metal casting students of Mechanical Engineering Education at Sriwijaya University were classified as moderate, namely 30 students (54.55%). Meanwhile, seen from external factors, entrepreneurial interest in metal casting is classified as moderate, namely 26 students (47.27%) and high, namely 24 students (43.64%). So both internal and external factors are very influential in generating student entrepreneurial interest. Keywords: entrepreneurship, interest, metal casting technique, questionnaire.
