PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES MELALUI METODE EKSPERIMEN SAINS ANAK KELOMPOK B DI TK NEGERI PEMBINA 1 PALEMBANG
The background of this research is the low processing skills of group B children in TK Negeri Pembina 1 Palembang caused by a lack of children's interest in learning so that children cannot focus during the learning process and learning is still teacher-centered. This is evidenced by the results of pre-cycle observations that there were 3 or 20% of children in the undeveloped category (BB), 10 or 67% of children in the starting to develop category (MB) and 2 or 13% of children in the developing category as expected. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in process skills through scientific experimental methods. The research method used was classroom action research (CAR) with the Kemmis MC Taggart research model which consisted of 2 cycles, with planning stages, implementation stages, observation, and reflection. The subjects used in this study were 15 children in group B6 at TK Negeri Pembina 1 Palembang. The data collection technique is the observation checklist sheet. Data analysis techniques using qualitative data analysis and quantitative analysis. Based on the results of the analysis of process skills data, there was an increase in cycle I, namely 6 or 40% of children in the category of developing as expected, 2 children or 13% developing very well. And there was an increase again in cycle II, namely 11 or 73% of children in the developing category as expected and 4 or 27% of children in the very well developed category. So it can be concluded that the science experiment method can improve the process skills of group B children in TK Negeri Pembina 1 Palembang.
