An emergency is an unexpected event that can cause injury or even death. With the existence of emergency procedures, evacuation routes, and life-saving facilities that can be used to assist the evacuation process when an emergency occurs, moreover, Firdaus Park Reservoir Area at Sriwijaya University was made to embody the campus motto, that is “Green-Agro-Eco-Edu-Wisata Kampus”. The purpose of this research was to analyze emergency evacuation routes in the Taman Firdaus Pond Area, Sriwijaya University. This research is a descriptive research using a qualitative approach with the technique of taking informants, namely purposive sampling. The total informants in this research were 8 people. This research refers to Sea Defence Consultants Theory 2007, Peraturan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum No. 20/PRT/M/2009, Peraturan Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif No 4 Tahun 2021, and ISO 7010. The results showed that the Firdaus Park Reservoir Area did not yet have emergency procedures, evacuation routes and life saving facilities such as exit signs, assembly points, and communication lines. This area already has access and exit routes but they are not permanent and can still cause other potential hazards. The estimated time needed in the process of evacuating the situation in the Firdaus Park Reservoir Area is approximately 29 minutes. The conclusion of this study is that the Firdaus Park Reservoir Area does not yet have adequate emergency procedures, evacuation routes, and life saving facilities. Therefore, the Firdaus Park Reservoir Area needs to make emergency procedures, evacuation routes, and complete life-saving facilities.
