Latar belakang: Anomali gigi merupakan kelainan yang terjadi akibat gangguan selama masa pertumbuhan dan perkembangan gigi. Etiologi anomali gigi dapat diakibatkan oleh berbagai faktor. Anomali gigi bersifat asimtomatik, namun anomali gigi dapat menyebabkan berbagai masalah klinis yang dapat menurunkan derajat kesehatan manusia. Radiograf panoramik merupakan media yang tepat untuk dapat mendiagnosis anomali gigi. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui angka kejadian anomali gigi dan mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis temuan anomali gigi pada radiograf panoramik di Rumah Sakit Gigi dan Mulut Provinsi Sumatera Selatan Tahun 2022. Metode: Penelitian deskriptif observasional dengan jumlah sampel 357 radiograf panoramik pasien periode Januari 2022 hingga Desember 2022 di Instalasi Radiologi RSKGM Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dan diidentifikasi secara langsung untuk melihat anomali gigi. Hasil: Terdapat 88 kasus anomali gigi dari 357 radiograf panoramik yang diperiksa, dengan jenis anomali gigi paling banyak taurodontisme (43,18%), enamel pearl (34,09%), dilaserasi (10,23%), dens evaginatus (9,09%), dan peg shaped (3,41%). Kesimpulan: Angka kejadian anomali gigi di RSKGM Provinsi Sumatera Selatan tahun 2022 dengan menggunakan data radiograf panoramik didapati sebanyak 24,65%. Background: Dental anomalies are abnormalities that occur due to disturbances during the growth and development of teeth. The etiology of dental anomalies can be caused by various factors. Dental anomalies are asymptomatic, but dental anomalies can cause various clinical problems that can reduce human health. Panoramic radiographs are an appropriate media for diagnosing dental anomalies. Aim: This study aims to determine the incidence of dental anomalies and identify types of dental anomaly findings on panoramic radiographs at the RSKGM of South Sumatra Province in 2022. Method: Observational descriptive research with a sample size of 357 panoramic radiographs of patients from January 2022 to December 2022 at the Radiology Installation of RSKGM South Sumatra Province and identified directly to see dental anomalies. Results: There were 88 cases of dental anomalies from 357 panoramic radiographs examined, with the most common type of dental anomaly being taurodontism (43.18%), enamel pearl (34.09%), dilaceration (10.23%), dens evaginatus (9.09%), and peg shaped (3.41%). Conclusion: The incidence of dental anomalies at RSKGM South Sumatra Province in 2022 using panoramic radiograph were 24.65%.
