This research aims to describe the form of illocutionary speech acts and the function of illocutionary speech acts in the movie Sayap-Sayap Patah and its implications for Indonesian Language Learning. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data used in this research is the dialog of Sayap-Sayapap Patah movie. The technique used is the method of listening with the technique of free listening with the technique of note taking. The steps in analyzing the data are as follows: (1) identifying data about illocutionary speech acts (2) classifying data (3) interpreting data (4) describing data. Based on the analysis, there are 171 data of illocutionary speech acts including 103 assertive data, 47 directive data, 6 commissive data, 12 expressive data and 2 declarative data. Then there are 28 data of illocutionary speech function including 5 data of competitive function, 9 data of convivial function, 7 data of collaborative function, 7 data of conflictive function. The results of this study can be used in Indonesian Language Learning at the SMA (Senior High School) level in class XI of the 2013 curriculum.
