This research is research and development using theory of Alessi and Trollip. This research aims to (1) describe the needed of learning media of writing negotiation text based on plotagon to student class X of SMA Negeri 9 Palembang, (2) produce a video learning of writing negotiation text based on plotagon, (3) describe the results of expert validation of learning video writting negotiation text based on plotagon. The data collection techniques used in this research and development are interviews, questionnaires, and validation assessment sheets. This video learning based on plotagon was developed by the results of needs analysis of students and teacher. The expert validation assessment consists of several aspects, namely media aspects, material aspects, and language aspects. The results of the validation of the media aspect got a score of 50 with a percentage of 90,90%, the material aspect got a value of 53 with a percentage of 88,33%, and the language aspect got a value of 47 with a percentage of 85,45%. This shows that overall the video learning material for writing negosiation text based on plotagon is stated to be very valid. it can be concluded that the learning video on plotagon-based negotiating text writing materials for class X students of SMA Negeri 9 Palembang is appropriate to use in learning write negotiating texts.
