DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING MEDIA WRITING PROCEDURE TEXT BASED ON CAPCUT ANIMATION VIDEO FOR CLASS XI STUDENTS OF SMA NEGERI 20 PALEMBANG

This study aims to: (1) produce the development of learning media for writing procedural text based on CapCut animated video for class XI students at SMA Negeri 20 Palembang; (2) the research was conducted using research and development methods (Research and Development) using a combined development model, namely the Borg and Gall development model with Allesi and Trollip; (3) describing the needs of teachers and students from the results of interviews and needs analysis of learning media for writing procedural texts based on CapCut animated videos for class XI students at SMA Negeri 20 Palembang; (4) making development plans by making flowcharts and storyboards, preparing materials, loading all pieces as a whole, developing the initial form of the product, and validating tests; (5) the validation test is carried out by media, material, and language experts. Media expert validation results get a total score of 77 with a maximum score of 85 with a percentage of 90.58%. The results of the material expert validation get a total score of 55 with a maximum score of 60 with a percentage of 91.66%. Meanwhile, the validation results of linguists get a total score of 47 with a maximum score of 50 with a percentage of 94%; (6) based on the results of the media validator, material, and language for developing learning media to write procedural text based on the CapCut animation video for class XI students is feasible to use in learning to write procedural text.
