Background: Dental caries in children is a dental health problem that requires special attention through the role of knowledge, perceptions and attitudes of parents. Objective: This study aims to determine the influence of knowledge, perceptions and attitudes of parents on caries in children at SD Negeri 237 Palembang. Method: This research uses descriptive analytical research with a cross design. Results: The results of the analysis show that there is an influence between parental knowledge on children's dental caries (def-t) at SDN 237 Palembang with a P-Value of 0.018. The results of the analysis show that there is an influence between parents' perceptions of children's dental caries (def-t) at SDN 237 Palembang with a P-Value of 0.006. The results of the analysis show that there is an influence between parents' attitudes towards children's dental caries (def-t) at SDN 237 Palembang with a P-Value of 0.003. The results of the analysis show that there is an influence between parental knowledge on children's dental caries (DMF-T) at SDN 237 Palembang with a P-Value of 0.001. The results of the analysis show that there is an influence between parents' perceptions of children's dental caries (DMF-T) at SDN 237 Palembang with a P-Value of 0.000. The results of the analysis show that there is an influence between parents' attitudes towards children's dental caries (DMF-T) at SDN 237 Palembang with a P-Value of 0.000. Conclusion: There is an influence between parents' knowledge, perceptions and attitudes towards children's dental caries (def-t and DMF-T) at SDN 237 Palembang.
