PENGARUH NPL, BOPO DAN LDR TERHADAP PROFITABILITAS BANK UMUM KONVENSIONAL DI INDONESIA 2018-2021.
This research aims to analyze the factors that influence the profitability of large banks in Indonesia. This research uses secondary data in the form of panel data for the quarterly period Q1 2018 – Q4 2021, and uses a sample of five banks with the highest assets (KBMI 1) in Indonesia. The analysis technique in this research uses panel data regression, namely the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). Return on Assets (ROA) as the dependent variable and independent variables in the form of Non-Performing Loans (NPL), Operational Costs to Operational Income (BOPO), and Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR). The results of this research show that NPL has a positive and insignificant effect, BOPO has a negative and significant effect, while LDR has a positive and significant effect on ROA. Based on data analysis trends, Large banks in Indonesia experienced a decline in performance in facing the challenges of COVID-19. Bank BCA showed the highest performance while Bank Danamon had the lowest. Large banks in Indonesia must continue to encourage banking digitalization. Investments in digital technology such as mobile banking applications, online platforms and other digital banking services should be a priority.
