One of the factors that can affect learning outcomes is the family environment, namely providing guidance and support from the family environment which can increase the potential of students to achieve optimal learning outcomes. This study aims to prove the influence of the family environment on student learning outcomes in economics class X SMA N 2 Palembang. This research is a type of quantitative research with an associative approach. The population in this study were students in class X1 to X3 SMA N 2 Palembang. The sample in this study was class X1, totaling 43. The sampling technique used was the cluster random sampling technique with the research sample being students of class X1 SMA N 2 Palembang. Data collection techniques used in the form of questionnaires and documentation of learning outcomes in the form of daily tests. Data were obtained from a family environment questionnaire given to students to determine the contribution made by the family environment. The results of the t test show that the value of tcount ≥ ttable is 20.65 ≥ 1.682, which means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence of the family environment on student learning outcomes in economics class X SMA N 2 Palembang so that a student's family environment can improve learning outcomes. Therefore, the family environment should provide support and guidance when students are at home to motivate them to study hard to achieve good learning outcomes.
