This research has the purpose of determine the effect factors of production on the output andmeasuring technical efficiency in the fertilizer industry in Indonesia. The type of data used issecondary data related to the fertilizer industry in Indonesia for the period 2011 to 2020. Theresearch method used is the Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) approach using the CobbDouglas production function. The research results show that the fertilizer industry inIndonesia for the period 2011 to 2020 is not technically efficient with a coefficient value of0.47. The capital and labour variables have a significant positive effect on the outputproduced by producers in the fertilizer industry in Indonesia. This condition occurs becausethe production factors used by the fertilizer industry in Indonesia are not optimal, so theoutput produced is not optimal.
