The thesis entitled "Development of Adobe Captivate-Based Learning Media Material Theory of the Origins of the Ancestors of the Indonesian Nation in the History Subject of SMA Negeri 3 Prabumulih". The research was conducted and implemented in class X IPS 1 at SMA Negeri 3 Prabumulih, using the ADDIE model development. The aim of this research is to develop Adobe Captivate learning media that is valid and has an impact on effectiveness. The validity of Adobe Captivate media was assessed by three experts namely material expert, lesson plan expert, and media expert. Material validity was 3.72 with a valid category, learning design validity was 4.16 with a valid category, and media validity was 3.75 with a valid category. The influence of Adobe Captivate learning media for history learning at SMA Negeri 3 Prabumulih can be seen in the increase in student learning outcomes before and after using learning media at the field trial stage by 41%. This shows that the Development of Adobe Captivate-Based Learning Media Material Theory of the Origin of the Indonesian Nation's Ancestors in the History Subject of Prabumulih 3 Public High School has a valid value and effectiveness.
