INVENTARISASI JENIS CAPUNG DI KAWASAN AIR TERJUN CURUP BATU BELADUNG KABUPATEN LAHAT, SUMATERA SELATAN
The Curup Batu Beladung Waterfall tourist area is a newly opened tourist attraction; therefore, information regarding biodiversity, especially that of dragonflies, is not yet available. Dragonflies are a species that has an important role in the ecosystem. The aim of this research was to determine the types of dragonflies (Order Odonata) found in the Curup Batu Beladung Waterfall tourist area. This study was conducted in Tanjung Payang Village, Lahat Regency, South Sumatra. This study was conducted from June to July 2023. The method used in this research was a survey and observation method by making direct observations at the research location using techniques in the form of direct observation and direct capture, namely the insect net, which was carried out three times over three weeks. A total of 285 individual dragonflies (Order Odonata) were obtained, consisting of six families and 32 dragonfly species. The species obtained were Ictinogomphus decoratus, Diplacodes trivialis, Neurothemis ramburii, Neurothemis terminata, Orthetrum sabina, Orthetrum glaucum, Pantala flavescens, Agriocnemis femina, Agriocnemis pygmea, Copera ciliata, Elattoneura analyst, and Libellago lineata. Further research would be very useful if carried out over a longer period and with more diverse methods.
