DETERMINAN STRUKTUR MODAL PADA BANK KOMERSIAL DI KAWASAN ASIA.
Capital structure describes the proportion of debt used to fund company operations. investors can see the balance between the level of return and risk of their investment when investors know the company's capital structure. This research explains the determinants of capital structure in commercial banks in the Asian region. The sample for this research consists of commercial banks in the Asian region, countries including China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan and Vietnam with a total of 510 banks. This research, when grouped according to the type of data analysis, is quantitative research. The data source used in this research is secondary data. In this research, the data collection method used is panel data. The results of this research show that profitability as proxied by ROA has no significant effect on capital structure. Current ratio shows the results have a significant positive effect on capital structure. Control Variables Company size has a significant negative effect on capital structure, inflation has a significant negative effect on capital structure, GDP has no significant effect on capital structure.
