This study analyzes the Spillover Effect of Economic Growth between Provinces of Sumatra Island. This study aims to identify the relationship of economic growth between provinces in the Sumatra Island Region. Researchers use the Granger Causality Test method to identify causality relationships of economic growth between provinces and the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) to determine the impact of regional growth on the region others. The data used in this study is secondary data. The data used is GRDP on the basis of constant 10 provinces in the Sumatra Island Region. The results of this study show that the Spillover Effect in each region has a Spread Effect and Backwash Effect. The Backwash Effect that occurs between regions is more dominant than the Spread Effect. The causality relationship of economic growth between regions shows the result of one-way and two-way causality.
