APLIKASI ALGORITMA PARTICLE SWARM OPTIMIZATION (PSO) DALAM RUTE PENGANGKUTAN SAMPAH DI DESA PULAU SEMAMBU KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR
Rubbish is problem which often happen of public, both of city nor of rural. Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) model can be implemented on the problem of transporting waste in Pulau Semambu Village, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. This model is solved using the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) Algorithm. Pulau Semambu village consists of 6 Hamlets that have 12 Temporary Disposal Sites (TDS), 1 Final Disposal Site (FDS) and each 2 Hamlets are formed into 1 Work Area (WA). The purpose of this research is to determine the route and the minimum mileage of waste transportation in each Semambu Island WA by applying the PSO algorithm. then compared with previous studies with the Tabu Search (TS) Algorithm. The optimal mileage obtained with the PSO Algorithm for WA 1 is 13.33 km with consecutive garbage transport routes, namely FDS Palem Raya - TDS 1 Hamlet 2 - TDS 2 Hamlet 2 - TDS 1 Hamlet 1 - TDS 2 Hamlet 1 - FDS Palem Raya, for WA 2, which is 16.20 km with the garbage transportation route, namely FDS Palem Raya - TDS 1 Hamlet 4 - TDS 2 Hamlet 4 - TDS 1 Hamlet 5 - TDS 2 Hamlet 5 - FDS Palem Raya, and for WA 3 km is 15.97 km with consecutive waste transport routes FDS Palem Raya – TDS 1 Hamlet 6 – TDS 1 Hamlet 3 – TDS 2 Hamlet 3 – TDS 2 Hamlet 6 – FDS Palem Raya.
