PENENTUAN ZONA PROSPEK HIDROKARBON BERDASARKAN ANALISIS PETROFISIKA PADA LAPISAN LOW RESISTIVITY LOW CONTRAST (LRLC) LAPANGAN TRM (TARIM) CEKUNGAN SUMATERA SELATAN
Identification of pay zones in clayey sandstone layers in the Tarim field poses a challenge in determining the hydrocarbon and water zones because they have low resistivity low contrast (LRLC) characteristics. The existence of LRLC reservoir layers is found in the lower-upper Miocene age in the South Sumatra basin in the Gumai, Air Benakat, Muara Enim and Palembang Formations as deposit products in transitional to terrestrial environments. Evaluation of subsurface formations on well data such as LAS data, core data, perforation data and mudlog data. In determining the prospect layer this research focuses on determining the value of water salinity or Rw. Therefore, the determination of the value of salinity or Rw is very sensitive and must be accurate in calculating water saturation. One of them is the TRM-57 well at a depth of 457.5-461.5 m. This layer has a low resistivity value of 3.38 ohmm, which has been validated against production data that there is oil fluid.
