ANALISIS PENGARUH INDIAN OCEAN DIPOLE (IOD) POSITIF TAHUN 2019 TERHADAP KARAKTERISTIK MASSA AIR DI PERAIRAN SELATAN JAWA BERDASARKAN HASIL OBSERVASI ARGO
As one of the waters in Indonesia, the Southern Java waters are very complex waters because they get direct influence from the Indian Ocean and also the influence of the Pacific Ocean water masses that are brought into these waters through the Indonesian Cross Flow (ARLINDO). This study aims to determine the effect of positive IOD in 2019 on water mass variability in the southern waters of Java. The data obtained in this study were analyzed using Ocean Data View (ODV) software to display a visualization profile of the salinity temperature or T-S diagram and for the data used were observational data from the ARGO Float, this ARGO Float is a marine instrument that moves with the current. sea to obtain oceanographic data. And in the Southern waters of Java, 6 water masses were identified in this study, namely Bengal Bay Water (BBW), Indonesia Upper Water (IUW), Indian Equatorial Water (IEW), Western North Pacific Central Water (WNPCW) and Eastern North Pacific Central Water (ENPCW), Indonesia Intermediate Water (IIW).
