ANALISIS KESTABILAN LERENG MENGGUNAKAN METODE KESETIMBANGAN BATAS PADA RENCANA GALIAN PIT Y PT BUKIT ASAM TBK, TANJUNG ENIM, SUMATERA SELATAN
In an open pit mining system, it is important to know how stable a slope is. Unstable slopes will affect the mine production process and cause losses. Whether a slope is stable or not can be determined from the safety factor value. In this study, the safety factor value is sought using the limit equilibrium method. The slopes analyzed are low wall, side wall and high wall slopes. If the slope safety factor value is more than 1.25 then the slope is safe and stable. However, in this research, the low wall slope of cross section B-B' and cross section C-C' and the high wall of cross section D-D' have FK value < 1.25 so that the slope design recommendations are made to be safe. Making slope design recommendations is done by changing the slope geometry, including minimizing the slope angle, increasing the height and width of the bench and increasing the number of benches.
