INTERPRETASI DATA SEISMIK UNTUK KARAKTERISASI KARBONAT MENGGUNAKAN INVERSI ATRIBUT AI PADA LAPANGAN ‘FL’ DI SUMATERA SELATAN
The South Sumatra Basin has been proven to produce oil and natural gas in the Baturaja Formation with Carbonate Layers. This layer is still producing hydrocarbons. In an effort to develop and optimize oil and gas production, in-depth studies must be carried out in various fields of earth science. In terms of the field of geophysics, innovation can be carried out by analyzing seismic data by inversion. Seismic inversion is needed to be able to describe the characteristics of subsurface rocks based on the frequency of seismic waves. Each field has different rock characteristics. The Baturaja Formation which has a reservoir type of carbonate rock can be characterized using the seismic inversion method. Seismic inversion was carried out using the model base inversion method through input data originating from wells FL-15 and FL-17 to produce acoustic impedance attributes. The method was chosen because it has a very good correlation value (94.80% for wells FL-15 and 95.94% for well FL-17) and small model error values (2064.71 for well FL-15 and 1519.76 for well FL-17). The resulting seismic inversion is proven to be able to separate between the shaft layers andtight (tight), where the shaft layer has an AI value of 8000 to 13000 ((m/s)*(g/cc)). From this identification in the research area it is still possible to carry out development in the form of adding 3 new wells (FL-H, FL-R and FL-A) based on the height of the subsurface structure and the low AI value.
