The purpose of this study was to determine the form of participation of Indonesian voluntary community organizations (MRI) Ogan Ilir in social activities in Ogan Ilir District. The type of research used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection was done by interview and observation. The subjects of this study amounted to six people, namely volunteer members of the Indonesian volunteer community organization. The results showed that the forms of volunteer participation in social activities were divided into two, namely direct participation and indirect participation. Direct participation is participation that occurs when individuals display certain activities in the participation process and have forms such as properties, skills, activities, and energy. Indirect participation is participation that occurs when individuals delegate their participation rights to others and do not have forms such as thoughts or ideas, decision making and evaluation.
