ANALISIS POTENSI KLASTER INDUSTRI KECIL SEKTOR MAKANAN DI KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN.
The purpose of this study was to determine the potential of small industrial clusters in the food sector in Ogan Ilir Regency. The data used in this study is the number of business units, workforce and small industry investment based on industrial groups in Ogan Ilir Regency in 2019-2021. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive qualitative analysis in order to see and know small industries that have the potential to be developed. This study uses a contribution approach, location quotient (LQ) and class typology. The results of this study indicate that the food industry sub-sector that has the highest average LQ value > 1 from 2019-2021 is the drinking water and mineral industry and the dry food industry. The appropriate strategy for developing IKM in Ogan Ilir Regency is based on the results of identifying SWOT factors, namely by improving product quality, developing internet-based marketing, optimizing the use of production technology, increasing workforce competence, increasing collaboration with supplier raw materials, product diversification as well as establishing a forum for IKM players so that they have the same standards to compete at a broader level.
