This study aims to determine the Role of Yakesma South Sumatra in Empowering Youth through Humanitarian Activities. This study used a qualitative approach with qualitative descriptive methods, the sampling technique used in this study was a purposive sampling technique with 6 informants and used data collection techniques, namely documentation, interviews and observation techniques. From the results of the research, it can be concluded that Yakesma South Sumatra empowers volunteers through several activities, namely campaigns carried out by Heroes of Humanity volunteers, Friday counter activities and Ramadhan zakat counters intended for Ziswaf Ambassador volunteers, as well as POS Yakesma activities, blood donations, mass circumcision , and the disaster response medical team conducted by the Healthy Alert Volunteers. These activities are carried out to carry out the role of Yakesma South Sumatra in empowering youth so that the goal of empowerment is achieved, namely to be independent in terms of thinking and acting, increasing abilities, exploring all the potential possessed by youth, both in terms of expertise and knowledge.
