Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease of the respiratory tract that causes bronchial hyperactivity to various stimuli, both directly and indirectly. Asthma is included in te top ten causes morbidity and mortality in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the accuracy of using asthma drug in asthma patients at the Inpatient Installation of the Siti Khadijah Islamic Hospital Palembang for the period January – December 2021. This research is a non-experimental study, with retrospective data collection and descriptive analysis. The data obtained were 34 samples that met the inclusion criteria. The distribution based on gender criteria was 61,76% for female patients and 38,24% for male patients, while based on age criteria asthma patient were likely to be in the late elderly (56-65) as much as 32,35%. The profile of drug use that is often used is combivent® as much as 20,19% and dexamethasone as much as 23,08%. The result of the study regarding the evaluation of the accuracy of drug use obtained the right diagnosis 100%, right indication 100%, right patient 100%, right drug 97,06%, right dose 91,35%, right route of administration 100%, right time of administration 100%, and side effect alert 100%. Evaluation of asthma drug use in asthma patients at the Inpatient Installation of Siti Khadijah Islamic Hospital Palembang in this study has met 8 parameter criteria for rational drug use
