The research is entitled "Social-Economic Development of PTPN VII Workers' Sugar Factory at Cinta Manis, Ketiau Village, Lubuk Keliat District, Ogan Ilir Regency, 2015-2021". The issues raised are how the initial socio-economic development of PTPN VII Cinta Manis Sugar Factory workers, how the socio-economic development of PTPN VII Cinta Manis Sugar Factory workers from 2015 to 2021, and the influence of PTPN VII Cinta Manis Sugar Factory to workers in Ketiau Village on the economy of Lubuk District Keliat Ogan Ilir Regency. The purpose of this research is explaining how the socio-economic development of workers at PTPN VII Cinta Manis Sugar Factory. The research methodology is the historical method, it has four steps, namely heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The approach used is the economic and sociological approach. The research results, it has been found that socio-economic development has an impact on increasing employment, increasing the economic level of the people in the area yet providing infrastructure in the form of buildings that support the activities of the Ketiau Village community so that the socio-economic conditions for the people around PTPN VII Cinta Manis continue to progress.
