NILAI-NILAI PENDIDIKAN MORAL DALAM NOVEL ORANG-ORANG BIASA KARYA ANDREA HIRATA DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN MORAL
The purpose of this study was to describe the values of moral education in the novel Ordinary People by Andrea Hirata and to find out the implications of the research results for Indonesian language learning in high school and junior high school. This research uses descriptive qualitative techniques with content analysis methods. The data source used is the novel Ordinary People by Andrea Hirata. The data in this study are quotes and dialogues that contain moral education values in the novel Ordinary People by Andrea Hirata. The results showed 32 data containing values of moral education, including the relationship between humans and God, the relationship between humans and other humans, and the relationship between humans and oneself. The value of human relationship with God includes praying, obeying God, and being grateful. The value of human relations with other humans includes mutual respect, help, and devotion to both parents. The value of human relations with oneself includes honesty, hard work, generosity, apologizing, and responsibility. This research can be implicated in the process of learning Indonesian in class XII SMA with basic competencies (KD) 3.7 and 4.7 "analyzing the values of life (cultural, social, moral, and educational) in the novel and expressing values (cultural, social, moral, religious, and educational) novels orally and in writing. And in junior high school class VIII with basic competencies (KD) 3.12 and 4.12 "analyzes the structure of information in review texts (films, short stories, poetry and novels, and regional art works) that are heard and provides responses about the quality of works (films, short stories, poetry, novels, and regional artworks) in the form of oral and written review texts with due regard to structure, linguistic elements or oral aspects”.
