PRODUKSI ASAM INDOL ASETAT DAN PERTUMBUHAN PADI YANG DI INOKULASI DENGAN Azaspirilluum sp. DAN Azptobacter sp. PADA BERBAGAI KONSENTRASI N DAN P.
Azospirillum sp. and Azotobacter sp. are non simbiotic N2 fixing bacteria and growth regulator substance producer, such as indole acetic acid. The objectives of this research were to study the production of indole acetic acid (LAA) by Azospirillum sp. and Azotobacter sp. bacteria and to investigate the influence on rice growth under different levels of N and P. This study was conducted from March to July 2013 in Chemistry, Biology, and Soil Fertility Laboratory. The treatments consisted of bacteria isolates (no isolate, Azospirillum sp., Azotobacter sp., and mixture of Azospirillum sp. and Azotobacter sp.) and level ofN and P (0 N + 0 P, 50% N + 0 P, 100% N + 0 P, 0 N + 50% P, 0 N + 100% P, 50% N + 50% P, 50% N + 100% P, 100% N + 50% P dan 100% N + 100% P). These treatments were arranged as factorial completely randomized design with three replicates. The results showed that 50% N + 50% P from recomended dosage was better than in treatment in support produce IAA by mixture of Azospirillum sp. and Azotobacter sp. isolates. The mixture Azospirillum sp. and Azotobacter sp. isolates with 100% N + 0 P from recomended dosage was better than treatment in increased growth (plant height, dry canopy weight, dry root weight, and root volume) and then was followed by 100% N + 50% P from recomended dosage.
