This research is entitled "Analysis of The Implemntation of E-Government in the Department of Commerce of South Sumatra Province". The background of this research is that in this era of digitalization electronic-based services must be carried out by every agency, especially in local governments. The South Sumatra provincial trade office has implemented electronic government to speed up the provision of a public service, but with the existence of electronic government there is still content on the website portal that is owned and cannot be accessed properly. This study aims to find out how the implementation of E-Government at the South Sumatra Provincial Trade Service and what are the inhibiting and supporting factors when viewed from the theory of successful elements of e-government development, namely, support capacity and value. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method derived from informants, documentation, observation and also laws and regulations. The technique used in determining the informants is a purposive sampling technique with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Based on the results of data analysis conducted by researchers, there are still deficiencies where there is a lack of capacity, because many factors cannot be overcome due to a lack of Human Resources (HR) in managing the website.
