KETERBUKAAN DIRI PENGGUNA APLIKASI TINDER PADA KALANGAN REMAJA DI KOTA SUNGAILIAT
The title of this thesis is "Self-Disclosure of Tinder Application Users Among Sungailiat City Teenagers." The purpose of this study is to discover the motivations for using the Tinder application among active Tinder application users among adolescents, as well as the self-disclosure of Tinder application users when meeting new acquaintances. Theories relevant to this research is self-disclosure from Joseph A. Devito. This study is qualitative in nature. In this study, there were seven informants. In-depth interviews were used to collect data in this study. The data analysis technique used is the analysis technique of drawing conclusions and models of verification. This study looks at why Tinder users use the app for fun and to meet new people. Self-disclosure on Tinder is done to feel closer and more comfortable during the introduction stage with new people. Age, work, hobbies, experiences, family circumstances, and love were all revealed by Tinder users who became informants in this study. Daily busyness, boredom, introversion, and difficulty opening up are all barriers that Tinder users face when looking for a partner or new acquaintances.
