The use of gadgets in children aged 4-6 years has a negative effect, namely the lack of developmental stimulation that is got children get and the lack of interaction between children with other people pr the environment around them. One of the efforts that can be made to stimulate children's development is by providing a modified snake and ladder game which contains all aspects of the development of preschool-aged children. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the GALUSOBA snake and ladder game (rough movements, smooth movements, socialization and independence, speech and language) on the development of 4-6 year old preschool children. This method of the study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample of study 36 students was taken by non-probability sampling purposive sampling technique with 18 respondents in the intervention group and 18 respondents in the control group. Child development was measured using a developmental pre-screening questionnaire (DPSQ). Data analysis used the marginal homogeneity statistical test and the Mann Whitney test. Based on the results of the marginal homogeneity test obtained, p = 0,000 (intervention group) and p = 0,083 (control group). The result of the Mann Whitney test obtained p = 0,000, meaning that there was an effect of giving the GALUSOBA snake and ladder game on the development of 18 respondents in the intervention group in aged 4-6 years. The GALUSOBA snake and ladder media can be used as a stimulation that can help teachers in kindergartens to improve the development of preschool aged 4-6 years. Keywords: DPSQ, Child Development, GALUSOBA Snake and Ladders, Preschool Age Bibliography: 87 (2009-2023)
