HUBUNGAN ANTARA ADIKSI INTERNET DENGAN PROKRASTINASI AKADEMIK MAHASISWA FKIP BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA
Internet addiction is a disorder characterized by excessive use of the internet and can cause problems in individuals, educational problems, and problems in the social environment. This study aims to determine the relationship between internet addiction and academic procrastination in Guidance and Counseling FKIP students at Sriwijaya University. This research is a quantitative correlation study with a population of 269 Guidance and Counseling students in Batch 2020, 2021, and 2022, while the samples obtained using a purposive sampling technique totaled 77 samples. The research instrument used a Likert scale and the data collection method in this study was an internet addiction questionnaire and an academic procrastination scale obtained by distributing instruments using the Google form. Data analysis in research using Pearson Product Moment. The results of data analysis show that the level of internet addiction is in the medium category with a percentage of 38% (29 students) and the level of academic procrastination is in the high category with a percentage of 36% (28 students).
