PERAN UNICEF DALAM MENANGANI CHILD MARRIAGE (PERNIKAHAN ANAK USIA DINI) DI INDONESIA TAHUN 2016
This study explores the role of UNICEF in addressing child marriage in Indonesia in the year 2016. Child marriage is a harmful practice that violates the rights of children, particularly girls, and undermines their health, education, and overall development. The study examines the efforts of UNICEF in combating child marriage during the specified year. It highlights UNICEF's involvement in raising awareness, advocating for policy changes, and providing support to at-risk communities. The study also assesses the impact of UNICEF's interventions in reducing the prevalence of child marriage and promoting the well-being of girls. The findings demonstrate that UNICEF played a significant role in addressing child marriage in Indonesia in 2016. Through partnerships with the government, civil society organizations, and communities, UNICEF effectively campaigned for legal reforms and provided essential services and support to vulnerable girls and their families. However, the study identifies ongoing challenges, such as deeply rooted cultural norms and limited access to education and healthcare. The study concludes with recommendations for UNICEF to continue its efforts in combating child marriage, emphasizing the importance of comprehensive interventions and sustained collaboration among stakeholders. In summary, UNICEF's role in addressing child marriage in Indonesia in 2016 involved raising awareness, advocating for policy changes, and providing support to at-risk communities. The study highlights the need for continued efforts and collaboration to combat child marriage and protect the rights and well-being of Indonesian girls.
