PENYALAHGUNAAN PINJAMAN KREDIT USAHA RAKYAT (KUR) OLEH PELAKU USAHA DI DESA MARIANA ILIR BANYUASIN 1
This study focuses on the forms of misuse and the reasons behind the community's (perpetrators) ability to abuse the People's Business Credit (KUR) loans in Mariana Ilir Village, Banyuasin I. Drawing from Robert K. Merton's Anomie theory, this research employs a qualitative research method with data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation. The research findings reveal several forms of misuse of People's Business Credit (KUR) loans in Mariana Ilir Village, Banyuasin I District, including the diversion of funds for purposes such as debt repayment and starting other businesses. Additionally, perpetrators employ false data, manipulate assets, and apply for loans exceeding their actual needs (overstanding). They also misuse the funds for personal needs. The reasons for these abuses include economic pressure due to debt and financial needs, environmental pressure stemming from coercion by individuals in their proximity, such as partners and children, and social pressure resulting from the desire not to be outdone by others Keywords : People's Business Credit, Loans, UMKM, Misapproprlation
