Background : Complications that arise after performing CS on the mother include pain in the incision area. Post-surgical pain will cause physical and psychological reactions, so there needs to be a way to control pain in order to adapt to post-caesarean section surgery pain. Nursing interventions that can be carried out to reduce pain in post-cesarean section patients are using finger-hold relaxation techniques combined with lavender aromatherapy. Objective: To provide nursing care to post-cesarean section patients using finger-hold relaxation techniques combined with lavender aromatherapy. Method: The method used is qualitative research with a case study approach to 3 post caesarean section patients. Discussion: the relaxation technique of holding your fingers and inhaling deeply inhaling lavender aromatherapy relaxes the body, triggering endophrin hormones to come out of the body and can be controlled so that pain neurotransmitters are inhibited. The finger-hold relaxation technique combined with lavender aromatherapy causes the brain to release endophrin hormones which function as a substance that causes a feeling of calm and relaxation. Conclusion: Finger grip relaxation techniques and lavender aromatherapy are effective in reducing pain in post caesarean section patients.
