Background: The main effect of sectio caesarea surgery can cause pain in the incision area caused by tissue continuity break. Pain that lasts continuously if left without proper treatment can cause other problems, such as disrupted mobilization and sleep disorders. One of the non pharmacological therapies that can be done to reduce pain in post sectio caesarea patients is to provide Benson relaxation therapy. Aim: Apply benson relaxation therapy in nursing care to post sectio caesarea mothers who experience pain. Method: The method used is qualitative research with a case study approach on 3 post sectio caesarea patients by applying Benson relaxation therapy. Results: There were four nursing problems found in all three post sectio caesarea patients with the main nursing problem being acute pain. The results of the nonpharmacological intervention, namely Benson relaxation therapy carried out for 10-15 minutes every day, found that there was a decrease of 3 to 4 points on the pain scale in the three patients. Discussion: The results of the study found that pain is the main complaint experienced by the three post sectio caesarea patients, so that the main nursing diagnosis is acute pain. Benson's relaxation therapy was given to all three post sectio caesarea patients as a nonpharmacological therapy to reduce pain. Benson relaxation therapy is a deep breath relaxation technique accompanied by the addition of an element of confidence in the form of words that has a calming, relaxing effect, and can reduce pain by increasing endorphin production and inhibiting pain impulses. There was a decrease in pain intensity from severe and moderate pain to mild pain after Benson's relaxation therapy. Conclusion: Benson's relaxation therapy is effective in reducing the pain experienced by post sectio caesarean patients.
