This research examines efforts to overcome conflicts between conventionaltransportation and online transportation (Case Study at the Palembang CityTransportation Service). This study identified 5 aspects of conflict managemeThe problems identified are related to efforts to overcome conflicts betweenconventional transportation and online transportation. These problems includeproblems of Competition, Collaboration, Compromise, Avoidance andAccommodation. This research was conducted using descriptive-qualitativeresearch methods with data collection techniques and through observation,interviews and documentation. This research uses the theory put forward byThomas and Killman, 2017 which states that the styles and intentionsrepresented by each style are: Competition, Accommodation, Collaboration,Avoidance and Compromise. The results of this research state several effortsmade by the Palembang City Transportation Department related to resolvingconflicts between conventional transportation and online transportation inPalembang City, namely by conducting outreach aimed at guiding andproviding understanding to the two forms of transportation so that there are nomore disputes and struggles over territory as well as passengers and theTransportation Department as well as parties concerned with the issue, identifythe problems that occur and look for solutions to handle related problems.
