This research aims to investigate one of the innovations in public services through a program in the field of population and civil registration, known as "Jam Kunci" at the Department for Population and Civil Registration of Banyuasin District. This research is a qualitative study that utilizes primary data (interviews and observations) and secondary data (reports or documents). The theoretical framework used in this study is the innovation theory, which consists of indicators such as distinctiveness, characteristics, planned program implementation, and objectives. The results of the research indicate that the "Jam Kunci" program has made it easier for the people of Banyuasin District to access population data recording services, optimize the use of resources by reducing wastage of time, energy, and costs, and improve the accuracy and quality of recorded population data in Banyuasin District. Based on these indicators, it can be observed that the innovative public service program has become an effective service.
