PEMODELAN GEOLOGI DAN PERHITUNGAN ESTIMASI SUMBERDAYA BATUBARA BERDASARKAN DATA BOR SEAM A1 DAN SEAM A2 PADA TAMBANG BANKO BARAT DI PIT SF PT BUKIT ASAM TANJUNG ENIM, SUMATERA SELATAN.
Geological modeling was carried out to determine the 3D subsurface model of the seam on coal using MineScape 5.7. Calculation of coal resources is important in exploration to determine the economic feasibility of mining. The results of resource calculations are used to evaluate planned mining activities. The study was located in the Muara Enim region of the South Sumatra basin. In this study, the Measuring Section Method, Well Logging Method, Inverse Distance Weighting Method, Start Model Method and Nearest Neigbour Point Method were used to determine coal resources. The measuring section method takes the thickness of coal seam a1 and seam a2, position data, slope data, and other supporting data. Well logging is the measurement and recording of drilled wells using the log gamma ray and log density methods. Inverse Distance Weighting method by considering adjacent locations. Model Start Method for developing and validating schematic models and approaches. The Nearest Neigbour Point method, for example, takes from the point closest to the research boundary. The average thickness in A1 and A2 well logging seams ranges from 8.24-11.68 m. Based on SNI 5015 – 2011, geological conditions are studied from tectonic aspects, sedimentation processes, and quality variations including simple geological conditions. The estimated coal resources of A1 seam are 1,795,725.52 tons and A2 seam is 8,173,539.78 tons. Total coal resources as a whole are 9,969,265.3 tons.
