Transportation infrastructure in Palembang City consists of roads, rail, river, sea and air modes. Based on the need for improving infrastructure services, it is necessary to know the spatial characteristics of modal shift infrastructure in Palembang City. This information is useful for knowing the distribution of the availability of modal shift infrastructure and as a reference for the government in improving public transportation facilities in Palembang City. The method used in this study is spatial analysis with visualization using a Geographic Information System (GIS), the application used is Arcgis 10.8. The visualized data is data on the distribution of modal shift infrastructure locations and the number of modal shift infrastructure users in Palembang City. The results of this study are the results of an analysis of the distribution of locations and the amount of infrastructure and its use in the city of Palembang. Based on the results of a survey of 4,000 respondents in an evaluation study of intermodal transfer points for Palembang City in 2022 by Bapeda Palembang City, it is known that the sub-district that has the most modal shift infrastructure among 18 other sub-districts in Palembang City is Ilir Timur I Subdistrict where there are LRT stations, bus stops transmutation, and wharf. Then, in the Alang-alang Lebar District, there is an LRT station, stop feeder buses, and a wharf. Based on 2022 data, the sub-districts in Palembang City that do not have mode shift infrastructure are Kertapati, Plaju, Bukit Kecil, and Ilir Timur III sub-districts. Based on the results of the 2022 study and visualization of modal shift infrastructure users in Palembang City, it is known that all sub-districts in Palembang City use the highest mode shift infrastructure, namely LRT stations in Ilir Barat I and Sukarame Districts.
