Up until now, the most common way to evaluate road conditions has been through manual visual assessment methods. In addition to visual evaluation of road conditions, road condition evaluation is conducted through longitudinal profile surveys, which are surveys conducted to determine road unevenness as measured by the International Roughness Index (IRI). Roadroid is an Android application that can be used to measure road unevenness utilizing a smartphone's built-in accelerometer. In this research, the evaluation of Palembang city road pavement conditions was carried out using the Roadroid application in the form of IRI values and using Pavement Condition Index (PCI). PCI itself is a numerical index used to express the condition of road pavement, based on a visual observation of the type, severity, and distribution of road damage. The two evaluation results were then compared and their correlation analyzed to determine the relationship between the two indices. Recommendations for repair and maintenance work were also made, based on the two evaluation results. The research was conducted on ten Palembang city roads, centered on Bukit Kecil district. The results of the pavement condition evaluation using Roadroid showed that all of the evaluated road sections were severely damaged from the estimated IRI (eIRI) measurement results, while from the calculated IRI (cIRI) results only two sections were in good condition, while the rest were either slightly damaged or severely damaged. The correlation analysis between the two indices showed that both eIRI and cIRI had a weak correlation, with R2 of 0.1771 and 0.3101, respectively. The repair and maintenance recommendations vary from reconstruction to routine maintenance.
