The Sriwijaya State Polytechnic campus in Banyuasin occupies the location of the previous State Community Academy (AKN) campus at that location. The Sriwijaya State Polytechnic Campus in Banyuasin has 5 study programs and 1 study program which will be added in the future. The establishment of this campus at the current location has a discrepancy between the existing facilities and the current needs of the campus. Therefore the building of the Sriwijaya State Polytechnic Banyuasin Campus will be designed with an Ecological Architecture approach considering the surrounding environment which is a plantation environment plus this campus accommodates many agricultural study programs. The design concept for this campus area pays attention to the principles of ecological architecture in the form of providing open space which is also a requirement for campus facilities as a public facility for users within it. The structural concept uses concrete beams and columns and consists of 1-2 floors. In the utility concept for the provision of clean water using a down feed system, the electricity source comes from the local PLN, and fire protection is in the building and on its site. In addition, laboratory waste utilities are stored in storage tanks before being distributed to the B3 waste collectors.
