The geographical location of Bengkulu City which is on the west coast of the island of Sumatra makes Bengkulu City have a lot of natural tourism potential in the form of beaches and also other natural potential in the form of the Jenggalu River and Estuary. Many activities require accommodation that can provide convenience and comfort for tourists. This accommodation is in the form of a resort that provides lodging and recreation which can be a place for tourists to rest when traveling and on vacation. The location of Bengkulu Province is also in an area passed by the earthquake path where mild and moderate earthquakes often occur with a fairly high frequency. So that a resort is needed that can respond to natural disasters in the form of earthquakes and tsunamis. With buildings that can respond to earthquake shocks and provide evacuation routes to minimize damage and victims of natural disasters. The cottages at the resort are designed by adapting local traditional designs to the shape of stilt houses and with a contextual approach to the surroundings. The resort building has a simple and symmetrical shape with the use of wood materials that can respond to earthquakes.
