This study aims to explore the meaning of young adults followers of @AreaJulid in doing "spill the tea" actions on social media Twitter through the phenomenology of Alfred Schutz. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with data collection by observation, interview, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, the background was found from the beginning of creating accounts for young adults to the meaning of the act of “spill the tea” they did on social media Twitter. It was found that there are many kinds of drivers and goals from just different interests to different goals, causing awareness to be divided into several parts such as increasing anonymity in social media to positive changes that occur to them. The motives and awareness of young adults followers of @AreaJulid are of course different, in this study also found meanings that in each individual are different depending on the things they experience from the act of “spill the tea”.
