DAYA ANTIBAKTERI EKSTRAK ETANOL DAUN SUNGKAI (PERONEMA CANESCENS JACK) TERHADAP BAKTERI PSEUDOMONAS AERUGINOSA DAN SUMBANGANNYA PADA PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI DI SMA
Research has been conducted on the antibacterial power of Sungkai leaf extract (Peronema canescens Jack.) against Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria. This study aims to obtain information on the effect of the ethanol extract of Sungkai leaves (P. canescens) on P. aeruginosa bacteria and the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of the ethanol extract of Sungkai leaves (P. canescens) on P. aeruginosa bacteria. The experimental method was a completely randomized design (CRD), and the results were analyzed using the One Way ANOVA test. The test method was carried out using the disc diffusion method (Kirby-bauer) and liquid dilution. Sungkai leaf ethanol extract with concentrations of 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5% (g/v) was tested for antibacterial activity against P. aeruginosa bacteria. The results showed that the ethanol extract of sungkai leaves (P. canescens) proved to affect P. aeruginosa bacteria. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) test of the ethanol extract of Sungkai leaves (P. canescens) against P. aeruginosa bacteria was carried out starting from concentrations of 0, 0,2, 0,4, 0,6, 0,8, and 1% (g/v). ), MIC was obtained at concentrations between 0 to 0.2% (g/v). Research contribution in the form of student worksheets (LKPD) on Basic Competency (KD) 3.8 Classifying plants into divisions based on general characteristics, as well as linking their role in life, in biology subject in senior high school class X even semester.
