Indonesia has 17,504 islands, with a coastline of 81,000 km. Therefore Indonesia is called a maritime country. In ferry crossing transportation in Indonesia, there are 294 routes, including 229 pioneer routes and 65 commercial routes. However, Indonesia is ranked 2nd out of 43 countries for accidents ferries worldwide. The Study of Safety Behavior in Ferry Transport. Herno Della, et al, (2019) is a paper within a research framework that describes safety culture. Five variables affect safety performance: safety practices, safety management, safety knowledge, personal awareness of safety practices, and safety behavior. The analysis of this study used the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. The results obtained from the 5 variables indicated that the influence of Safety Culture on safety behavior, namely the lack of implementation of occupational safety and health practice simulations (K3) and zero accidents that exist on ferry crossings at the port has not been maximized due to the lack of safety management in related companies.
