This study aims to determine public awareness in maintaining the cleanliness of the park in Kambang Iwak, Palembang. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research subjects were visitors, street vendors, and cleaning staff. The researchers chose informants who were considered to know information and problems in depth, and could be trusted and to be the right source of data in this study, totaling 8 people. The results of research conducted at the Kambang Iwak Park through three indicators namely, community knowledge, community understanding, and community action. The people in Taman Kambang Iwak already have good knowledge. However, at the level of understanding of the community in managing the environment, the community acts without accompaniment or is based on an understanding of this matter and is still lacking. Likewise, the government's role in overcoming the problem of cleanliness of the park environment and the provision of inadequate facilities. This is evidenced by the existence of scattered garbage, accumulation of garbage, and garbage in the lake. Keywords: Awareness, Community, Environmental Cleanliness
