This research entitled "Development of Pineapple Production and Distribution in Prabumulih in 2017-2022". The problems studied in this study are how the development of pineapple production in Prabumulih, how the development of the distribution of pineapples in Prabumulih, and what are the positive and negative impacts of pineapple production and distribution on economic and social life. The purpose of this study is to explain how the development of pineapple production in Prabumulih, to explain how the distribution of pineapples in Prabumulih, and to explain what are the positive and negative impacts of the development of pineapple production and distribution for economic and social life. The research method used in this study is the historical method. There are several steps in the historical method used in this study, namely heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, historiography, economic approach, sociology and anthropology. The results of this study indicate that the development of pineapple production and distribution patterns in 2020, but in 2021 pineapple farmers experience a decrease in income due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the government imposes restrictions on community activities. while for the production of pineapple every year has increased. In 2022 the distribution of pineapples in the Patih Galung Sub-District and Karang Jaya Sub-District will begin to experience development again when compared to the previous year, the pineapple distribution route extends out of town. The existence of this farmer group makes it easier for pineapple farmers to market their crops which will have an impact on the economic and social life of the community.
