This research is entitled "Development of a Digital Book of Local History of the DPRD of South Sumatra for the 1999-2009 Period Using the PAIKEM Learning Model in Class XII of SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang". This research was conducted in class XII IPA 2 SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang. This research is a type of development research using the ADDIE model. This study aims to develop digital book learning media that are valid and have an effective impact. The validity of digital book learning media is based on the results of validation carried out on experts, namely material experts, linguists, and media experts. The results of material validation are 4.40, linguists are 5 and media experts are 4 with very valid categories. Then in the learning outcomes of students, it was obtained an increase in learning outcomes using digital book learning media, namely 36.67% with an N-gain value of 0.61 in the good category. This shows that the learning media Digital Book Local History DPRD Sumsel Period 1999-2009 is valid and effective.
