Representation in films continues to expand. The depiction of humans in films is increasing in variety. One of them is through the depiction of humans in a science fiction film. Humans in science fiction films are depicted through posthuman characters who are described as having problems related to complex issues surrounding the future of humanity. This study aims to determine the representation of posthumanism conditions contained in the Dune (2021) movie. The data is obtained from selected images of movie scenes and documentation with qualitative research methods. This research uses Constructionist Representation theory and Pepperell's Posthuman theory, with Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis (two orders of signification) through denotation, connotation and myth. The results of this study show that Posthumanism in the Dune (2021) film is depicted from its human characters who evolve through technology and medicine. From this research, it is known that the film Dune (2021) contains eugenics in the prophecy of Bene Gesserit's manipulative, sexist, and racist agenda.
